Berchaco Ethiopia Pvt. Ltd. Co. is one of the subsidiary companies of East African Holdings which is playing a pivotal role in the industrial development of the country by substituting imports and generating employment opportunities.

The company was established 52 years ago by French Nationals but later on transferred to an Ethiopian Investor. It was the only cosmetics producing firm in Ethiopia before the 1980’s, engaged mainly in perfume products.

The company is located at the heart of Addis Ababa about 200 mts from Mexico square to the south. It is operating in a building with 2500m2 of land with work force of about 300 in number.

The current product range extends to Hair Food, Hair Oil, Nail Polish, Shampoo, Cream, and lotion.

The company has recently modernized its manufacturing facilities to address the growing demand for the local market both in quality, quantity and variety.
